• Full results of 1^st round of calls for ESPON projects delayed. To keep informed about this and also about the 2^nd round of calls – which has already been pre-announced – please visit the ESPON UK Network website.

• Cliff Hague was recently in Chicago for the ACSP/AESOP Congress and presented the paper “Transnational Territorial Research in Europe: A review of the European Spatial Planning Observation Network and the opportunities it offers to researchers in planning” where he reviews ESPON 2002-2006 in a manner that addresses its significance for planning education and research in both Europe and North America. • Seeking material for website: members are invited to submit images and articles for the ESPON UK Network website. Material should be related to territorial development and spatial analysis in the UK and the rest of Europe and will be acknowledged. If you are able to help, please email research@rtpi.org.uk
