Retaining Planning Staff

16-May-08

RTPI member David Oakhill MRTPI is currently undertaking a Master’s in Business Administration, and his dissertation is considering “How can Local Authorities better retain qualified spatial planning professionals?”

This work undertaken by David links neatly with the RTPI’s ongoing research into workplace issue facing professional planners, and those working towards professional qualifications.

The findings of David’s dissertation work will be presented to the RTPI to help inform future work and debate around the issues of recruitment and retention of spatial planning professionals.
