Majestic promises to provide a quality event with champagne, several white and red table wines, and an unusual dessert wine, cheese and other food tasting samples to illustrate wine and food matching.

Licentiate APC Event (pdf, 233kb)

  • Time: 6pm - 8pm
  • Place: Drivers Jonas Deloitte offices, 1 City Square, Leeds LS1 2AL
  • Cost: Free, but booking essential

Philip Woodward, Senior Membership & Database Officer at the RTPI, will discuss what the APC is, what the Licentiate needs to do and what issues, if any, they need to be aware of.

  • The APC – what is it and what is expected of the Licentiate - the 3 main components of the APC: the Practical Experience Statement, Professional Competence Statement and Professional Development Plan. The discussion will also cover the Logbook, Mentoring and Experience
  • The APC – what are the changes to the process in 2012

There will be a general Q&A session but questions about individual submissions need to be addressed to the Membership Team

The YORnet Christmas Party 2011

YORnet Christmas PartyThe 2011 Yorkshire young planners, ‘YORnet’ Christmas social was an overriding success, with a fantastic turn out. This exciting event was held at the renowned Sky Lounge Bar in the Mint Hotel, Leeds, with fantastic views across the cosmopolitan city.

Professionals of the built environment were able to relax and enjoy a Christmas drink whilst having an opportunity to meet like minded individuals and enter their business cards into the Christmas raffle. 

With special thanks to Beach Baker and their kind sponsorship, the evening started in style, as members were able to enjoy a complimentary reception drink of either fizz or beer; and with the festive season in full swing, the social provided a relaxed and fun atmosphere, presenting a great opportunity to meet other young professionals and certainly not your usual networking event.

Thank you to; Beach Baker for their kind sponsorship, Sky Bar, Leeds for their fantastic hospitality and of course, to all those members who attended, it was a great success!
