There’s a variety of events of interest to young planners, from formal conferences designed to help with CPD requirements, to social events to help you get to know others in your profession.

• South Coast Young Planners' Network The Port of Southampton: Gateway to the UK (4 September, Southampton)
• North East young planners' event: PPS 3 Housing (10 September, Newcastle-upon-Tyne)
• London young planners' APC event (17 September, London)
• YORnet autumn social (18 September, Leeds)
• North East young planners' event: Legal frameworks and practice (24 September, Newcastle-upon-Tyne)
• Annual Young Planners' conference: Planning the next 60 years (Brighton and Hove, 10-11 October)

Some events provide valuable continuing professional development (CPD). More information about CPD and how the RTPI measures it.  You may also want to refer to the website events page for links to other RTPI events, including regional events, training and conferences.
