Membership of the Young Planners' Network is open to all members of the Institute and is specifically aimed at planners under the age of 35.

Individuals who are not members of the RTPI who are able to demonstrate a commitment to working with planners to achieve beneficial results can also join the network.

Benefits of joining include:

  • the opportunity to attend events that share and develop good practice and policy in a relaxed and friendly environment
  • a regular e-bulletin in which members can exchange information and keep up to date with RTPI news
  • a dedicated website with relevant information and helpful links
  • access to the skills and contact details of other members to facilitate networking
  • opportunities to participate in small and time-limited task groups, through which network members help to develop policy and projects
