Results of elections for Junior Vice-President, Executive Board and General Assembly

Ann Skippers

Ann Skippers has been voted as the RTPI Junior Vice-President 2008. Ann, who has been a member of the Executive Board and General Assembly for a number of years, is a Director of Charisma Spatial Planning Ltd. Ann will become Senior Vice-President in 2009 and President of the Institute in 2010.

In addition, a number of other elections have taken place.

General Assembly members have voted three new corporate members onto Executive Board for 2008 and 2009 – Mike Hayes (a re-election), Colin Haylock and Richard Summers. The Regional Representative on the Board will be decided early in the New Year.

New student members of General Assembly are Claire Dobinson, Antonia James and Wayne Reynolds.

Executive Board co-options:

Andrew Taylor has been co-opted as the Young Planners representative

John Harvey has been co-opted as the Associations representative

General Assembly co-options:

Carol Robinson has been co-opted as a Technical member

Don Alder has been co-opted as the Associations representative

Graham Holmes and Rob Hobbs have been co-opted as Student members
