Why come to Brighton ’08?
The RTPI National Young Planners’ conference is the largest young planners’ event in the UK 2008 calendar, and is an opportunity for young planning professionals to come together and learn about important issues that are at the forefront of the profession. The conference attracts significant interest nationwide and this year it is anticipated that planners from the South West, South East and London will be particularly well represented at the two-day event.

The Conference has again been organised by young planners for young planners or those relatively new to the profession. The Conference focuses on planning issues and spatial responses and as such is multi disciplinary and is open to related professionals such as architects, surveyors, urban designers and regeneration specialists.

The National Conference offers excellent CPD and networking opportunities. Furthermore the benefits include:

  • A full range of interesting, topical and high profile speakers
  • A great social experience including an optional formal Dinner on Friday 10th
  • An exhibition incorporating the sponsors, government and voluntary bodies
  • A full range of study tours to key development sites incorporating best practice
