Walking tourThe Regeneration Network organises a series of informal events, sometimes known as Network Lunches.  These are small, roundtable events, with one or two speakers designed to allow plenty of time for questions and discussion.  We also hold study tours and project visits.  Events are held at locations around the UK, at various times of the day and there is no cost to attend.

Our next events:

Creating sustainable suburban housing in Scotland (Glasgow, 23 September) Waiting list

Does good quality public realm contribute to regeneration? (Luton, 1 October)

Terraced Housing and Regeneration in Conservation Areas: a heritage-led approach (Nelson, 3 October) Waiting list

Topics covered in previous events include the art of communication - public relations in planning; terraced housing - interventions and solutions; unlocking the potential of brownfield land; vacant property in new developments; and "grot spots". A briefing note is produced after each event, which network members can access in the members' area, along with presentations and any additional follow-up materials.

If you have an idea for an event, or would like to host or speak at one of our events, please contact the network manager.

Some events provide valuable continuing professional development (CPD). More information about CPD and how the RTPI measures it.
