Resources
11-Mar-10
PIPA aims to help you be fully equipped to tackle the important role of being a planning Councillor. Below please find a selection of Resources that we hope that you will find valuable - but if you don't find what you are looking for, the value of the Network is that there is a large body of fellow members that will be knowledgeable and probably keen to help. To make a request through the Member Bulletin please contact the Network Manager.
PPS4: Planning for Prosperous Economies
On 12th February Cristina Howick and Peter Keenan (from Roger Tym & Partners) outlined, explained and took questions on the new PPS4: Planning for Prosperous Economies. You can see the two Presentations from this event by taking the links above.
PIPA Conference 2009 - Delivering for the Upturn
The 2009 Conference was very well received with the majority of those completing the evaluation form assessing the event organisation as 'excellent' and everyone else as 'good'. An unsolicited Member Report of the event can be read via this link and a Report in Planning will appear shortly. The programme with an almost complete set of links to the related Presentations can be accessed here - but please be patient with the links as most Presentations are large files that will not download instantly.
Section 106 Agreements – Time for Review?
Following on from the well-supported meetings in Bristol, London and Tunbridge Wells, a further meeting was held in Grantham on Monday 14th September. A copy of the presentations, supporting material and Networks' member discussions are available via this link.
AWARDS
On the RTPI website we provide information about RTPI Awards but also accessible here is a list of relevant annual Awards offered by other organisations with links to the related website. Use the links there to go direct to the relevant Award webpages to make sure you know when the entry is required and to allow you to match yourself against recent winners.
BULLETINS
We will hold here an archive of Forum Bulletins over the last 12 months; please note that the frequency of Bulletins has altered over this period and that, because web-content is ever-changing, some links shown in the Bulletins may no longer work or make the correct connection.
