COLIN HAYLOCK BECOMES THE RTPI PRESIDENT FOR 2012

 
Colin Haylock becomes President of the Royal Town Planning Institute  today (18 January) in succession to Richard Summers.

Colin said: “We face uniquely trying times in the UK. At this vital time for planning, my mission will be to make the case for planning and for planners by helping to take forward the work of the Institute across a number of crucially important areas."

Planning Aid England (PAE) national conference on neighbourhood planning

RTPI members from across England met in Derby over the weekend (January 13-14) at a two day conference to better understand the Government’s changes to the planning system and to learn more about Planning Aid’s new resources to help communities get to grips with neighbourhood planning.
