Independent Consultants' Network
The Independent Consultants’ Network (ICN) provides a national voice and focus for independent planning consultants. It aims to reflect the interests and concerns of self-employed consultants and consultants working in small practices by providing a forum where members can discuss relevant issues, topics and share good practice. The ICN also plays a key role in supporting, raising the profile and enhancing the professional competence of planning consultants.
Network members have access to the skills and contact details of other members to facilitate networking, and have the opportunity to attend regular events to share and develop good practice and policy in a relaxed and friendly environment. Events are usually low cost or free of charge and are held all around the UK.
Joining the network
By joining the network, independent consultants can keep up to date with relevant information and developments, seek and offer advice and experience, exchange information and news and have access to the skills and contact details of other network members.
The network is free to join and is open to both RTPI members and individuals who are not members of the RTPI. To join the network:
You must first have registered on this website by clicking on the "my profile" button in the top right hand corner. Please complete the Profile as fully as possible as this will help you get the most from the Network (RTPI members please remember to include your membership number).
Once this been done, just click on the ‘Join here!’ link to the left of this page. Requesting access there triggers a message to the Network Manager who will grant access and respond to you by email. (Non-RTPI members may be asked to supply additional information.)
If you have any problems signing up online please contact the network manager.
At any point, if you wish to leave the Network, simply email the Network Manager.
