Events, Awards & Networking
The RTPI offers a wide range of services that are designed to facilitate the sharing of information and best practice and foster networking and professional development within the planning profession.
Events, Awards and Networking
We offer a variety of events and conferences at a national, regional and local level. RTPI events cover a broad range of policy and practice topics, as well as personal and professional development issues.
Through our award programmes, we encourage and reward outstanding achievement in planning. We aim to celebrate the contribution made by the planning profession to the quality of life throughout the UK, and to raise awareness and understanding of pioneering work.
Our Networks and Associations generate, demonstrate and disseminate knowledge and good practice, and provide a voice for everyone with an interest in the planning profession. We also deliver a wide range of services to members on a regional and national basis through our network of Regions and Nations.
Planning Convention
We hold an annual Planning Convention, which in 2011 was Planning in the Big Society?, held on 14-15 June 2011 at the Grand Connaught Rooms, London.
