Historic environment issues are a key element in the planning system, a position earned because our heritage is an emotive subject, linked to ideas of identity, place and beauty. Rightly or wrongly disputes often crystallise around and are expressed in terms of heritage. This session, in association with Lichfields will consider the role of the professional in resolving such conflict by providing the basis for balanced, reasonable and transparent decision making. The event will be of interest to planners, conservation professionals, architects and developers with an interest in the historic environment.
Topic and speaker information will be coming soon
