This seminar is a must for all those who want to explore how the skills of planners are being used to help tackle some of the world’s biggest challenges including rapid urbanisation, poverty and climate change. Being held just a month before the UK hosts the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting (CHOGM) this seminar will draw on the work of the University of Birmingham, the Commonwealth Association of Planners and leading planning professionals using case study examples from South Africa, Sierra Leone, the Caribbean and elsewhere to show how planners are having increasing global influence. 

This is a morning Seminar followed by lunch.
