Whilst recent years have seen a nationwide reduction in vacancy rates and stronger comparison goods expenditure growth, many town centres remain relatively fragile and susceptible to competition. This seminar will consider the latest trends, including the continued growth of convenience goods discounters, the growing importance of the food and beverage and night time economy, and the loss of key anchors from the High Street. Opportunities which exist and interventions which may help secure the future vitality and viability of our town centres will be considered, alongside an overview of recent case law.
This is a morning Seminar followed by lunch.
