From the 16 – 20 April 2018, world leaders will congregate in London for the Commonwealth Summit. The summit's theme is 'Towards a common future', and is focused on building on the strengths of the Commonwealth, to ensure it is responsive to global challenges and delivers a more prosperous, secure, sustainable and fair future for all its citizens.

To coincide with this, on Monday 16 April 2018 at University College London, RTPI's most recent Gold Medal winner, Sir Terry Farrell, will give the RTPI Commonwealth Lecture. This will be based on 'City making: the work of many hands'.
