2017 will see major new opportunities for transport and infrastructure to start delivering and directing real change in the North of England.  This conference will look at what is new and how delivery will change.  It will provide updates on the ‘big piece’ projects, such as HS2 and Trans Pennine road and rail links. It will consider the implications of the new Mayors, strategies and early impacts of devolution.  It will help us to understand future technologies in transport and infrastructure, such as driverless vehicles, intelligent public realm and low carbon futures.
