Ready to take your career to the next level? Become a Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI) through the Licentiate Assessment of Professional Competence (L-APC).
Devon and Cornwall Young Planners are calling Students, Licentiates, mentors and employers to join in the latest in our on-going programme of L-APC workshops. These are an excellent introduction to the eligibility criteria, submission requirements and assessment standards.
If you're intending to submit your L-APC application at the deadline in November, then this session will be is essential for all those last-minute tips and advice! If you're a little earlier on in the process, you'll also find the session very useful for learning from our guest experts and other candidates
We will also be inviting Employers and Mentors to join the workshop to learn more about the expectations and requirements of the L-APC process and how to support their candidates through the process. If you are currently mentoring a candidate or would like to then please register your place on the online booking below as a Mentor.
We will be joined by a Senior Membership Advisor from the RTPI who will give a detailed presentation on the L-APC process. This will cover all of the application requirements and latest advice and will be followed by an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
We will then break out into discussion groups to go into more detail on the different parts of the L-APC, assisted by recently Chartered Members who will be on hand to share their successful experience. You will also be able to share your own ideas and insights with other current candidates.
Please note that this session will only cover the Licentiate-APC route to Chartered membership, and not the Associate APC or Experienced Practitioner APC routes. Those applying for Associate Membership or Chartered Membership through the Associate or Experienced Practitioner APC routes (A-APC or EP-APC) may also find this event useful, but should be aware that there is some variation in requirements.
