Daytime View Of London

During 2017 London’s resilience has been constantly tested – from stresses such as poor air quality and congestion, ongoing shortages of affordable housing, and concerns over the impacts of Brexit – to shocks such as the Grenfell tragedy and a number of acts of terrorism.

Meanwhile, in November Sadiq Khan will launch the Draft London Plan that will articulate how development in the capital should address these – and other urban development issues. This includes Mayoral priorities including “Good Growth” and “Healthy Streets” as set out in the recently published “Good Growth by Design” and “Mayor’s Transport Strategy”.

This year’s RTPI London summit will focus on how planners in London can assist in delivering the Mayor’s priorities and consider how we can all play a part in delivering a more resilient London.
