Planning in Scotland is set to face a number of uncertainties and opportunities in Scotland this year with the recent local elections, the Planning Review and a future planning Bill as well as various Scottish Government planning related consultations. This year has also seen the UK Government trigger Article 50 which will eventually lead to the UK leaving the European Union.
Please join Morton Fraser and the RTPI South East Scotland Chapter for a seminar on Brexit, looking at the implications for Planning and Development. Our speakers will look at the uncertainty related to and the potential implications of the Brexit negotiations and how this may have an impact on how planning and development in Scotland evolves over the next few years.
Our speakers will also cover the legislative process - learn above the legislative process in the Scottish Parliament, know how to influence and achieve change and understand how to work out what that change means for Planning.
*Followed by summer networking drinks, very kindly sponsored by Morton Fraser - come along and catch up with new and familiar faces after the event.*
