Following the launch of the Hungarian version of 'Planning Horizons no. 1 - Thinking Spatially' in 2016, the Hungarian Society for Urban Planning (MUT) is working together with the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and the Planning Horizons in Hungarian volunteer group to launch the remaining books of the series in the early months of 2017.

Reflecting on the future changes highlighted in the series, the MUT have organised the ‘next50years’ conference to explore the challenges which planning, policy and decision makers face in the 21st century. During the conference, Hungarian and international delegates will be discussing the relevance of those major challenges to Hungarian planning.
