Office to residential permitted development (PD) rights are now a permanent feature of the planning system and the Government appears intent on further reforms to widen the use of the prior approval process.

This CPD event will explore the mechanics of the PD rights, their impacts on London, key appeal decisions and further changes that may be on the horizon.

Come along and debate their merits and role in the planning system with two leading industry professionals.

Speakers:

  • Mike Derbyshire – Head of Planning, Bidwells
  • John East - Strategic Director for Growth and Homes, London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and formerly Director of Planning at London Borough of Newham.

First presentation 6.30 pm, to be followed by audience questions and debate.
