The Dickens Heath Masterplan - What did it deliver in practice?

Date:
Tuesday, 13 September 2016 at 9:30AM - 4:30PM
Venue:
The Council Chamber, Council House, Solihull, West Midlands B91 3QB, UK
Organiser:
RTPI West Midlands
westmidlands@rtpi.org.uk

This event will look at the masterplan that was produced for Dickens Heath, a new village 3 miles from Solihull town centre,  and examine the extent to which its original vision has been achieved. This will be done by looking at the background to the masterplan and in some detail at its original aims across a number of agendas. Dickens Heath will then be explored on foot to look at what has been delivered on the ground. Finally a workshop session will attempt to reach some conclusions about the extent to which the masterplan has been successful and also agree some ‘lessons learnt’.
