Edinburgh Central Library, George Washington Browne Room, George IV Bridge, EH1 1EG
This unique event will provide an opportunity for young planners to better understand what it is like to work in both the private and public sectors. It will also allow for some informal networking.
Nick Wright, RTPI Scotland Convenor, will chair this event, and our panel of speakers will comprise four high-profile planners who each have experience of working in both the private and public sectors. Speakers will discuss their own experiences and aim to dispel any misconceptions held about each sector. There will also be time for you to pose any questions you may have to the panel.
Our speakers are:
Sandra Lindsay, Land Manager at Springfield Homes
Alasdair Morrison, Head of Regeneration at Renfrewshire Council
Andrew Trigger, Strategic Land Manager at Avant Homes
Aline Kirkland, Planner at Barton Willmore and also a young planner
The panel discussion will be followed by networking drinks at a nearby bar, kindly sponsored by SPRINGFIELD HOMES.
Places are free but limited and so MUST be booked - please email firstname.lastname@example.org by 28th September.
