Building well designed, accessible, healthy and attractive places is one of the key objectives of effective planning. Using case studies of towns and neighbourhoods that have managed to achieve these goals, this conference explores the principles for making good places and how the design and planning process can help to deliver liveable, high quality, sustainable settlements.
