Please note the new date for this event.

With the outcomes of the Scottish Government Planning Review fast approaching, the RTPI South East Scotland Chapter have pre-emptively organised an event inviting industry leaders and specialists to give their initial thoughts via panel discussion on the outcomes.

This event will be held one week after the review outcomes are to be published making it one of the first opportunities to gain insight into the results.

Our distinguished panel of speakers will include two Past RTPI Scotland Conveners; Pam Ewen, formerly of Tayplan and now of Fife Council, and Stephen Tucker of Barton Willmore. Ken Ross of Ross Developments & Renewables Limited will provide a developers perspective and Nikola Miller, formerly of RTPI Scotland and now of Homes for Scotland will represent the house building industry view, as well as her own perspective as a ‘young planner’.

This event will be chaired by Rory Alexander of Morton Fraser. He will also offer legal insight into the outcomes.

This is a free event (£5 for non-RTPI members), and places can be booked via Eventbrite.
