Well designed development remains one of the main benchmarks of successful schemes.  This event will examine some of the ways in which this is achieved.  It will consider how the national design agenda and local design guidelines are translated into sustainable development.  It will use best practice and case studies both within and outside the region to provide a clear idea of how we can provide better design in place making. The event will include a presentation from one of the successful schemes from the RTPI Planning Awards 2015.
