Performance and Resourcing of the Scottish Planning System

This event will provide an opportunity to hear a range of speakers discuss their perspectives on the performance and resourcing of the Scottish planning system.

 

David Leslie of The City of Edinburgh Council (and Chairman of the
HOPS Performance and Practice sub-committee) will provide a strategic
overview of the work that has been undertaken on resourcing in recent
years, and take stock of where we are now.

Emma Hay, former Programme Manager at the Improvement Service, will
explore the costs of delivering a planning service.

Thomas Fleming of Peter Brett Associates will discuss the research he
undertook on performance during his time as Intern Project Officer at the
RTPI.
