The Thames Valley Young Planners’ Network invite you to attend a stimulating and informative seminar focusing on the opportunities and challenges of planning and design in historic environments, with particular reference to Oxford.

Planners are often faced with the challenges of delivering projects while dealing with heritage considerations. This is particularly acute in Oxford, where demand for development continues to grow and which has a world-renowned historic city centre, 18 conservation areas and around 1,500 listed buildings as well as a range of other heritage assets.

A panel of key individuals will each provide an informed perspective on the subject. Confirmed panel members are

  • Patsy Dell, Head of City Development at Oxford City Council;
  • Clare Wright, Partner at Wright and Wright Architects; and
  • Eleanor Cooper, Project & Planning Officer at the Oxford Preservation Trust.
