HS2 will be a new high-speed railway line, connecting London with major cities in the Midlands and North of England.

HS2 is expected to lead to a doubling in passenger numbers through Euston station. It has the potential to transform the area; as a gateway to London, a transport hub and a neighbourhood centre. Significant amounts of development may accompany the arrival of HS2.

This event will begin at Arup, where Claire McConnell from the Euston Station project team will give an overview of how ambitious plans for the station have emerged. This will be followed by a tour through the area, led by the London Borough of Camden, finishing at the brand-new Francis Crick Institute.
