Summary of Event:

The lack of affordable housing is the number one issue facing authorities in the Eastern Region. Flowing from this the question of scheme viability and its role in determining the quantum of affordable housing is the centre of much concern. Many authorities are questioning the transparency of the process with some insisting (whether lawful or not) on un-redacted versions of confidential viability reports being made public.

This seminar will look at the key issues from the planning and development viability perspective, reviewing RICS guidance, its application and landmark planning appeal decisions.

The seminar will then look at how this is being interpreted on the ground both nationally and in the Eastern Region on both greenfield and brownfield sites.

To Book: All bookings are being taken by Bidwells. Please see information above.
