An Archaeological Exploration into Scotland's Past...

An East of Scotland Chapter Event

This will be an unique opportunity to visit a live archaeological dig at Moredun Hillfoot, Perth, led by Tay Landscape Partnership, a project run by Perth & Kinross Heritage Trust.

The guide for the visit will be David Strachan, Trust Manager who has a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of archaeology and conservation.

So, dig out your walking boots and come to join your Chapter colleagues in an exploration into Scotland's past.


Meet at the Moncrieffe Hill, Scottish Woodland Trust Car Park on the Rhynd Road at 5.30pm (car park around 1 mile along Rhynd Road off the Edinburgh Road (A912) opposite Craigclowan School - follow brown signs from there).


This event is FREE for RTPI members / students. Non-RTPI members also welcoomed. Places must be booked - email Chapter Convenor Lorna Sim on to book your place.

Walking boots / waterproof clothing advised!
