The next Mayor of London will have until Thursday 7 May 2020 to deliver a new London Plan and a replacement Mayor’s Transport Strategy. 

RTPI London’s Mayoral Election Series seeks to explore, examine and discuss the main planning-related priorities and challenges for the next Mayor and implications for planning for the capital up to and beyond 2020.

Launch Event with Sir Terry Farrell

RTPI London's launch event will feature Sir Terry Farrell drawing on his 50 years of professional experience.  Sir Terry will present his view on how the planning profession has shaped London over the last half-century; what lessons the mayor could take forward; the priorities and big challenges facing London from a planning and development perspective and what advice would he offer the new mayor in meeting these priorities and challenges.
