Wednesday, 14 October 2015 at 9:30AM - 2:00PM
Sheffield Hallam University, Howard Street, Sheffield S1 1WB
RTPI Yorkshire

In this year’s Yorkshire Practice Seminars programme, selected towns and cities in Yorkshire are showcasing planning success and future plans.

This seminar will explore how planning leads the long term development of Sheffield and the type of city it should be in 2035. Themes will include the role of planning in accelerating housing delivery; what the key ingredients for a vibrant neighbourhood are, both now and into the future; increasing the supply of deliverable sites; promoting city centre living; and enabling the transition of business/commercial areas into more vibrant mixed use residential neighbourhoods.

This Seminar is held in partnership with Sheffield City Council.
