Planning for a changing world directs us to consider the changes that the Planning (Wales) Bill, which should be in its final stages, will bring to planning in Wales and the challenges that the system is dealing with, in unison with the other changes which the Welsh Government and others are pursuing. It also reflects that public service reform is firmly on the table and asks what does the City Region movement mean for Wales? Fundamental to all of these changes is the question: “what does a future planner look like?”

Whilst the focus of the Conference is on planning practice in Wales, we cannot ignore effects from beyond our boundaries; Wales needs to be resilient to the changing world.

Almost 300 people attended the Wales Planning Conference - Wales’ premier planning conference – in 2014; will you join us for 2015 in what promises to be an exciting programme? There is something for everyone, no matter what area of planning or sector you work in, or what part of Wales you operate - or even if you don’t work in Wales at all (you might just be interested to know how things are evolving in Wales). Perhaps you are just starting out in your career in planning and we welcome members of other professions too.

Details of the programme are available to download and the booking forms are also available in English and Cymraeg.
