With a new Government in place, what can we look forward to in terms of housing policy and practice?  This half day seminar will look at the key challenges facing the new Government and the new policy directions we can expect.  How will the Government tackle strategic planning, ensure full Local Plan coverage and provide for peoples’ housing needs in both urban and rural areas? Will the new Government tackle the vexed question of green belt restraint? Will better housing design make housing more palatable to local communities?  A broad range of experienced speakers will help to shed light on all these issues and more.
