This year the PQT discussions will focus on the infrastructure needs of the South East of England and the tensions inherent in bringing such works or NSIPs – Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects on stream.
This will also focus on a particular challenge in the South East: that of airport infrastructure, given that the Airports Commission will publish its final report with recommendations for airport capacity, in May 2015 and the 2013 interim report pointed to a need to grow capacity in airport infrastructure such a debate is timely.
