Planning for Adrenalin

RTPI Cymru's 2015 Annual Review event will be discussing how we plan for adventure projects, on the eve of 2016 which is the Welsh Government’s Year of Adventure. From the safety and warmth of Station Court in Colwyn Bay we will hear from three of North Wales’ recent adrenalin-inducing projects and discuss the planning issues associated with them and the lessons learned, as well as learning about the local economic value of such investment.

Speakers include:

  • Llechwedd - Zip World and Bounce Below, Michael Bewick, Managing Director, Llechwedd and Sean Taylor, Zipworld
  • Plas Heli Sailing Academy, Pwllheli – Llyr Beaumont Jones, Senior Manager (Economy and Community) and Cara Owen, Development Management Manager, Cyngor Gwynedd Council
  • Surf Snowdonia – Ceri Thomas, Principal Planning Officer, Conwy County Borough Council

Following the Seminar, we will have the change over of RTPI Cymru Chair which will be followed by refreshments.
