Walking Tour of Edinburgh

A Central Scotland Chapter Event

Thursday, 11 September 2014 at 5:45PM - 7:30PM
City of Edinburgh Council Offices, Waverley Court, 4 East Market Street, Edinburgh, EH8 8BG
RTPI Scotland

The city centre of Edinburgh is a World Heritage Site, transport hub, business, shopping and cultural centre and residential neighbourhood. The City of Edinburgh Council (CEC) has a key role in balancing these sometimes competing roles as the city experiences significant growth. There have been many interesting, sometimes high profile, developments over the last few years.

Ben Wilson, Principal Planner with CEC, will be conducting a walking tour through the World Heritage site, starting from CEC offices at Waverley Court and passing through ‘Caltongate’, Quartermile, Fountainbridge and ending at Haymarket.

We will meet at CEC offices at 5.45pm for some refreshments prior to commencing the walk.

For RTPI members, attending this event will contribute to your CPD.

Places are limited so if you are interested, book early!
