Planning in Kosovo
A Presentation by Oonagh Gil

Kosovo declared independence in February 2008 following the war between the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the Kosovo Liberation Army. It has since received international recognition from many countries and aspires to join the EU. In 2012 Oonagh Gil spent two weeks working with planners and government officials in Pristina, the capital city, as part of an EU funded project. The aim was to identify opportunities for the government and local municipalities to improve their planning service. She'll talk about her time in Pristina and her reflections on both the planning system in Kosovo and Scotland.

For RTPI members, attending this event will contribute to your CPD.

Sandiwches and tea/coffee will be served from 6,30pm with the presentation starting at 7pm.
