This valuable Annual Conference, kindly hosted by Huntingdonshire District Council, should appeal to all Councillors (Parish, Town, District, Unitaries and County) and help them in their planning work. It will provide the opportunity to meet with Councillors from across the East of England facing similar issues and the chance to learn effective methods to enhance planning and control.

Key speakers have been invited to this Annual Conference to help inform delegates of current issues and good practice.  It will be of real importance to councillors relatively new to planning, who may require training, as well as a refresher and update for longer established members.

The morning session will concentrate on the delivery of a sound Local Plan, covering the duty to co-operate, housing delivery, five-year land supply, the test of soundness, Neighbourhood Plans and recent Inspector rulings.

The afternoon session will major on development management, delivering the Local Plan’s requirements, material planning considerations, changes to permitted development rights and other regulations, and recent Appeal decisions.

Early booking is advised.

At only £105+VAT including refreshments and lunch, this is an event not to be missed!
