RTPI London Centenary Celebration and ‘Kaleidoscope City’ Book Launch

2014 – the beginning of the centenary year for the Royal Town Planning Institute.  To mark this occasion, RTPI London, is holding a centenary launch, networking evening.  Alongside the launch of RTPI London’s centenary year is the release of ‘Kaleidoscope City:  Reflections on Planning and London’ edited by Jonathan Manns, Colliers International.  This book is a critical collection of essays from leading planners, architects, economists and property experts that explores the past, present and future of planning in London.  As Sir Edward Lister, Deputy Mayor of London for Planning, writes in the foreword:

“London today is far removed from the garden cities movement of Eberneezer Howard and Patrick Abercrombie’s post-war Greater London Plan. The Mayor of London’s 2020 Vision describes a city facing an unprecedented population explosion.”

Join RTPI London, hosted by Colliers International, to celebrate the beginning of the centenary year and to meet the contributors to the Kaleidoscope City and enjoy an evening of drinks, canapés whilst networking and engaging in debate with key industry professionals.

To book please email Tara King - places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
