The Ballroom, Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow, G1 3SF
GCHT & RTPI Scotland are delighted to present PechaKucha Night-Trains & Places. The event will be Chaired by Alistair Macdonald, Immediate Past Convenor of RTPI Scotland & GCHT Trustee.
Confirmed speakers include:
Dr David Heathcote (writer, historian, television presenter)
Liz Davidson (Principal: City Design, Glasgow City Council)
Jill Scott & Bill Hicks (authors, Glasgow’s Grand Central Hotel)
Dr Bruce Peter (Glasgow School of Art)
Nicholas Oddy (Glasgow School of Art)
The format is quick-fire and each speaker will have just over 6 minutes and a limit of 20 images for their presentation.
PechaKucha originated in Tokyo in 2003 and was devised to enable designers to share their thoughts and ideas in a strict time frame of 20 slides for 20 seconds each. It is the collective, eclectic nature of the speakers that set the tone. PechaKucha Night now runs in more than 300 cities globally.
Free to RTPI Members and Students/Friends of GCHT.
£5 for non-members.
