The Chapter is delighted to have 3 high profile and enthusiastic speakers to update us on the V&A at Dundee, the City of Culture Bid and Creative Industries

  • Tara Wainwright – Marketing and Communications Manager (for V&A at Dundee).  Tara will give an update on the V&A project - the first design museum ever to be built in the UK outside London - and give an insight into the kind of content audiences can expect to enjoy, both in the building itself, and through V&A at Dundee's wider programmes, designed to generate new creativity and innovation across Scotland.
  • Stewart Murdoch – Director of Leisure and Communities (Dundee City Council).  Stewart will speak about Dundee's bid for UK City of Culture status, the development of the cultural sector in the city and the importance attached to cultural led regeneration.
  • Morgan Petrie – Creative Scotland. Morgan will provide an overview of Creative Scotland’s involvement in the V&A project. Morgan’s portfolio includes Technology Digital Media and Market Development. Morgan was previously Head of Market Development at Scottish Screen, engaged in strategic programmes of investment to support the development of the digital media industries in Scotland.

Please come along and support your Chapter.
