Localism and the neighbourhood: emerging planning practice

Wednesday, 04 September 2013 at 9:30AM - 3:40PM
The Rose Bowl, Leeds Metropolitan University, Leeds LS1 3HB
£99.00 - £110.00
RTPI Yorkshire

This conference will deal with practical ways to work within recent planning reforms. Linking broader strategic aims to those of the locality; mediating differences in interest, ownership and control and responding to variations in community capacity. What should devolve to whom in the brave new world of partnerships and the 'ultra-local' and where does it leave planners?

This conference is being organised by Leeds Metropolitan University on behalf of the RTPI Yorkshire Conference Series.

Concessions and free student places available.

Booking for this conference closes at 5pm on Thursday 29 August 2013.
