RTPI Young Planners Conference: 'Planning out of Recession'

Leeds City Museum, Leeds

The RTPI Young Planners' Conference 2013 is brought to you by young professionals and will be hosted in the great northern city of Leeds. Our conference – Planning out of recession – will play host to a number of high profile speakers from influential organisations in the Planning System, who will dissect all aspects of the our growth out of recession theme and the wider planning profession.

Five plenary sessions, interspersed with workshops and study tours, will discuss topics including the performance of the drive for growth through the planning system, the options for unlocking future growth and the means by which growth can be delivered. Topic based workshop sessions provide scope for small group discussion on topics such as assessing and understanding viability, community engagement and regeneration.
