Recent developments in UK case law and their implications for developments in Scotland

RTPI West of Scotland Chapter are organising an evening seminar on recent Scottish planning case law and legislative changes of note. The seminar will be delivered by Ewan MacLeod, Partner at law firm Shepherd and Wedderburn.

Ewan is accredited as a specialist in Planning Law by the Law Society of Scotland and is ranked in the top tier of Scottish Planning Lawyers by Chambers Legal Directory. He has extensive public inquiry experience and has particular expertise in housing, retailing and waste issues. Ewan advises developers and planning authorities in relation to development plans, significant planning applications including planning gain issues, appeals, court challenges and compulsory purchase. Ewan also advises on a range of environmental matters including regulated processes, nuisance and contaminated land.

On the evening, Ewan will deliver a seminar covering a range of recent developments in planning law. This will be followed by a Q&A session and a short discussion.
