This RTPI Event aims to give an overview of the recently launched ‘Living Places’ document, the UK’s first consultation on a joint urban stewardship and design guide.
Excellence in stewardship and design have a key role in creating quality places and spaces in our towns and cities. ‘Living Places’ seeks to bring these two elements together to ensure they become an important consideration in determining planning applications.
It is anticipated that the document will be used by other Departments involved in urban design and management as well as planning professionals, community groups and the general public.
Speakers: Angus Kerr (DOE Planning and Local Government Group), James Hennessey (Paul Hogarth Company) and Ciaran Mackel (ARD Architects)
