International House, St Katharine's Way, London E1W 1UN, UK

How can decision-makers and others do all they can to create an environment which promotes successful, balanced enterprise?

This half-day event will generate thinking on promoting local growth in England. It will examine how sustainable economic growth is being stimulated in London and the South East. Speakers include Alister Scott (Birmingham City University) and Jim Hubbard (RTPI).

It will also show how tools and concepts developed by a major European research programme, ESPON, can encourage strategic thinking and help in the formulation of strategies for growth.

The event is followed by a free networking lunch from 1-2pm.
