Young Planners Cymru are organising their first Bill themed presentation and network evening of 2013 at the Pierhead. The event is sponsored by Christine Chapman AM. The refreshments are sponsored by Arup.

As Director of RenewableUK Cymru, David Clubb will discuss the notoriously complex social pillar of sustainable development and the wider economic and community benefits of renewable energy schemes. Our speakers from Hyder Consulting will discuss their recent research on the planning consents process for renewable energy development and the implications for delivering development in Wales.

The evening will take place in the main hall of the Pierhead, an iconic building and central part of the Cardiff Bay landscape since 1897.

Free refreshments and wine will be provided, subject to availability.
